احد الاجانب عطاني هذا الحل لاكن مافهمت اي شيء اتمنى منكم شرحة او ترجمته على الاقل لان ترجمه قوقل لاتنفع مع هاذي الامور
I may have a solution to your problem. Note that this may be complicated.
1. Look on the website, https://code.google.com/archive/p/easycap-somagic-linux/wikis/GettingStarted.wiki, and scroll down to where it says "Downloading and Installing Official Releases". There is a link to their "Downloads" page. Follow that and download "somagic-easycap_1.1_amd64.deb". On that page also download "somagic-easycap-tools_1.1_amd64.deb".
2. Install the necessary packages with the command:
apt-get install libusb-1.0-0 libgcrypt11 mplayer usbutils
Also, install the downloaded package with the command "dpkg -i somagic-easycap_1.1_amd64.deb". Install the other package with the command "dpkg -i somagic-easycap-tools_1.1_amd64.deb".
3. Go to this website, http://disk.yandex.com/public/?hash=iPuCRJJecXKPPRmddzbpu4b1kuzjtrAEnJObgQcvGo4%3D, and download the zip file. Open it up and extract the directory "WinXP".
4. In the "WinXP" directory you'll find the file "SmiUsbGrabber3C.sys". In the terminal, run as root "somagic-extract-firmware SmiUsbGrabber3C.sys". This should create the file "/lib/firmware/somagic_firmware.bin".
If all went as planned, plug in the EasyCap device, attach a video source, and run "somagic-init" as root. To check whether the device is recognized, run "lsusb" and check for the output "1c88:003c Somagic, Inc". You can then try "somagic-capture --test-only" or "somagic-capture > /tmp/video.ts" to see whether it's working.
For more information, look to the "Getting Started" page that I provided at the beginning of this comment.
I hope that this helps you with using the Somagic device.
